How to remove facial hair naturally:

Home remedies to remove facial hair:

Hair on the face is really annoying to women as it gives unfeminine and unattractive feeling (which can shatter their self-confidence). There can be many reasons for excess hair on face like hormonal imbalances, hereditary factors and reaction to certain medicines.

Here we have some natural remedies to remove facial hair and to slow down its re-growth:

1.     Gram flour, lemon and water:
Mix 2 tablespoons gram flour and 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice in water to form a thick paste. Apply this concoction on your face in the direction of hair growth, leave it to dry and wash it away. This is an effective remedy for getting rid of facial hair.

2.     Lemon and honey:

Take 1 tablespoon honey and 5-6 drops of lemon juice, mix them well. Apply the mixture on your face in the direction of hair growth for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off. Repeat this twice a week for 2 weeks and later on reduce the frequency using this remedy once a week.

3.     Lemon, sugar and water:
Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and ½ tablespoon lemon juice in water mix them well. Apply the mixture on your face in the direction of hair growth for 15-20 minutes. Scrub your face gently and rinse it off with cold water.

4.     Gram flour, turmeric and water:
Take 2 tablespoons gram flour and a pinch of turmeric powder; add some water in it to form a thick paste. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it to dry. Gently scrub it off and rinse with water.

These remedies are very effective but require patience. You need to try these remedies regularly say every week, gradually you will get rid off unwanted hair from your face.

Avoid waxing facial hair as it can boost further hair growth.

  1. Is this permanent hair removal? I pluck, but if I don't use a scrub daily, I will have dark spots or scarring.

  2. Hair growth is natural process that can’t be stopped permanently but the regular use of these remedies will gradually remove your facial hair and help to slow down its re-growth. Though they take some time to show effect but they are really safe. Don’t scrub your face daily, even home made body scrubs can damage your skin if you scrub it too frequently. To lighten the scars and spots you can apply lemon juice on your face as lemon is a great bleaching agent (avoid area around your eyes and eyebrows).

  3. I'd love to use laser removal for my hairs but it's so expensive!
